 *Some facts about Sphynx cats*

Sphynx cats are sweethearts, funny, adorable, caring, friendly, playfull, sweet. They are allmost like monkeys and babys at the same time. At first you might think that they look weird and freaky , but after when you actually spent some time with them, you will find them really sweet and interesting. And absolutely fall in love with them.

They have almost hairless body, big ears and pixiesh expression, you'll either love or hate it at first sight. However, if you spend a bit of time around a Sphynx, you'll find them interesting, lovable, companionable, intelligent, and friendly -- all those qualities one looks for in a pet. Sphynx are outgoing and love to show off, which makes them always sought out in shows.

In addition to being nearly hairless, it is the sphynx's intelligence, affection, and playfulness that make them unique among felines. Sphynx have fine down on their body, or some hair on the paws, nose, tail, or outer ears. The feel of their skin can be compared to that of chamois or somewhat rubbery. Their eyes are large and lemon shaped and the neck is very flexible, in that when the cat is eyeing something curiously it can extend rather like E.T. from the film of the same name, but in a somewhat more elegant style. Sphynx crave human contact. They are intelligent and most curious, sensitive and extremely loving. However, they do take time to get to know strangers, so do not be put off if initially they study you from a distance. They love playing with people, and often show the versatility of their paws by using them as hands to acquire objects they are not supposed to have!  They prefer human attention but enjoy the company of dogs and other cats.

Some people believe that Sphynx are suitable for people with cat allergies, but this is not necessarily true - it depends upon the type of allergy. An allergy to fur means that you may be able to live with a Sphynx. However, an allergy to dander is a very different problem as this is basically dried saliva, which becomes airborne after cats have licked themselves. Should you have an allergy, then you need to spend time with the cats to see if there is any reaction. Of course, you may find that if there is a reaction you can learn to live with it, since the pleasure the Sphynx gives may well outweigh the discomfort.

 *Personality*

<><>Making sure the personality of your Sphynx will "match"  with your personality is something to take into consideration before one arrives in your home. Their personality has been described as a combination of a dog, a monkey, and a human baby.

Sphynx cats are compared to a dog as they are extremely loyal and always like to be by your side. They are most like lapdogs in as much as they will crawl all over you and the properly place themselves in your lap. Also, much like dogs, some Sphynx do beg for food from their owners. If you don't want a cat that will be under your feet, follow you everywhere, and by your side 24/7, then a Sphynx isn't for you, but again sphynx cats have diffrent kinds of personalitys.

Sphynx are also compared to human babies in that they demand attention, need lots of love, and require care and high maintenance.Sphynx cats are highly socialized cats meaning they require a ton of attention from you. Sphynx cannot be ignored. They will not allow it. They will cry if they want something or if something is not how they like it. Some cry more than other but my experience has shown that 80% cry daily for something. It is my belief that if a Sphynx were to be treated like a "regular cat" and only given minimal amounts of attention, it would get depressed and perhaps even physically sick. They need you to play with them, snuggle them, and let them know they are completely and totally special. Some say they act like a 2 year old human so consider just how much love they will need before committing to bring one into your life.

*Life Expectancy*

Sphynx hairless cats have natural body oils , and the oil absorbs dirt, dust, and etc  Most
Sphynx cats need to be bathed about once a week or so. If you introduce a cat to baths
